  • Ms. Vesna Banovchanin “EVALUTION OF READINESS FOR POINTE TECHNIQUE IN CLASSICAL BALLET”

Annotation: This thesis focuses on physical requirements for dancers’ readiness for pointe technique, advanced technique in classical ballet. It shows position of a foot in pointe shoes, as well as required flexibility and strength. Thesis provides set of exercises which could be used as addition to experts’ opinion on students’ readiness for advanced pointe technique, avoiding injuries.
